DAMIEN MANDER'S NEW ANTI-POACHING UNIT - LAST LINE OF DEFENSE AGAINST AFRICA'S ESCALATING POACHING CRISIS
An exclusive interview with Damien Mander by Over and Above Africa for our members - in his words how our funds will be utilized by his men and women on the frontline (press play!)
May 31st, 2017
We are so thrilled to be helping Damien and his I.A.P.F. with their fundraising efforts to form a totally new and ultra effective Anti-Poaching Unit in Africa. With the recent ban for rhino horn trading lifted by South Africa, the predicted escalation of rhino poaching is creating shocking casualties, mostly deaths. Damien's success record with his Anti-Poaching Units working together with African officials to ensure the safety of the animals in his region is legendary. Now he's forming another and we LOVE his forward thinking project which we'll be sharing with you over the coming weeks.
PLEASE donate to our CURRENT fundraiser and support his efforts to ensure the animals we love so dearly will thrive and survive in the wild. THANK YOU!
You can help us support Damien and his team as they train a new and elite Anti Poaching Unit - we'll bring you video of the process and we'll share private messages from Damien to you as the team grows! Thank you!
Jamie Joseph is both an eco-warrior and journalist - any way you slice it, she's a courageous defender of rhino in her beloved South Africa.
We were lucky enough to shoot this EXCLUSIVE interview with her while she was visiting Los Angeles to help EAL (Elephant Action League) with their 1st Annual Fundraiser. We were present at The Montage Hotel and are delighted to share that they helped raise impressive funds to continue the fight against poaching and wildlife trafficking - our interview hints at what Jamie is up to next.

She needs as much funding as we are able to support her with for this next stage. Please give generously to this fearless eco-warrior as she takes on an even bigger foe ... more soon!

THULA THULA RHINO ORPHANAGE - ATTACK!
May 1st, 2017 - In a recent statement explaining the way forward, LAEO (Lawrence Anthony Earth Organization) Directors detailed an interim plan to move the animals of Thula Thula and staff off-site to give their team a chance to recover from the trauma and allow management time to conduct independent security assessments and review the findings of the criminal investigation. CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY Our funding will go towards the well-being of the staff and in handling some of the initial costs needed to set up the orphaned rhino at the new facility.
April 30th, 2017 -We spoke with Francoise Malby of Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage and she shared a message of thanks with us for our donation. We are putting it together now and will share with you in the next week. However, things are not looking good for the continuance of the Rhino Orphanage side of the facility after the awful attack. More soon.
April 4, 2017 We successfully completed our second project with you! We will soon be bringing you the footage of your funds in use at Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage who suffered a terrible attack by eight heavily armed men. These criminals broke into the orphanage at night and performed unspeakable acts that ended in the death of two soon to be released, rehabilitated rhino orphans. Our friends at Thula Thula report that much is being done to prevent anything like this attack EVER happening again with new security measures and are extremely appreciative we heard about their need stepped in to help them.
